Irrigation Start Up/Winterization

Start Up

 

1. Recharge system by turning the water on
2. Turn controller on and manually turning on each zone.
3. Go through each zone to make sure there aren’t any breaks or debris in the pipes, valves, sprinkler heads, or nozzles.
4. Clean out valve boxes
5. Clear away grass from sprinkler heads 
6. Make sure the controller is operating and programmed properly.

Winterization/Blowout

 

1. Shut off  Water Supply and Drain
2. Switch off the Timer
3. Attach the Compressor
4. Blow Out the Sprinklers
